Durante esta época realicé ilustraciones en técnicas tradicionales para cubiertas de libros, como freelance para una editorial pequeña, siendo desde finales de 2013 hasta 2018 su única ilustradora.

Hola, si has llegado hasta aquí, esperas que te cuente algo sobre mí.
Me formé en la Facultad de Bellas Artes, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, en 2007 me licencié en Artes Plásticas. Mientras estudiaba en 2004 una escritora me contacto para dibujar (en estilo «Magic»), los 22 arcanos de una baraja de cartas que estaba creando ella. Este proyecto lo asumí como aprendizaje ya que decidí resolverlas en digital, tuve que aprender sobre la marcha a usar Photoshop e Illustrator.
En 2006 emprendí mi negocio familiar Doart Bellas Artes y manualidades, escuela y tienda de Bellas Artes, donde enseño a pequeños futuros artistas, al tiempo que sigo realizando mis proyectos artísticos hasta día de hoy.

Desde pequeña me gustaba dibujar e inspirarme en las ilustraciones de las historias y los cómics que me llegaban. Me apasionaron las ilustraciones de fantasía de los libros y siempre soñé con poder hacer algo similar. Más o menos, cumplí este pequeño sueño cuando a finales de 2013 comencé a trabajar con una pequeña editorial, hasta 2018 tuve el placer de hacer muchas de las portadas de los libros que allí editaban, casi 100 portadas.
En 2018 decidí que quería evolucionar y aprender seriamente a trabajar en digital, así que me aparte de la editorial para centrarme en mejorar mi técnica. También traslade de ciudad mi negocio, siendo un nuevo comienzo.
He seguido haciendo ilustraciones para clientes particulares y autores que me conocieron en la editorial, todo lo compagino con mi negocio. Al ser mi propia jefa tengo horarios relativamente flexibles.
Me gustaría poder trabajar haciendo ilustraciones de fantasía para juegos, ya sean de mesa o videojuegos, ya que es mi sueño desde pequeñita.

¿Por qué Shairys Bj?
Nací bajo el nombre de Silvia Blázquez Jiménez, pero un editor sugirió que me pusiera un nombre artístico. Después de pensar no mucho me llamé Shairys Bj («Shairy» por mi avatar del Wow y «s Bj» por mis iniciales)
Hello, if you’ve come this far, you’re hoping I’ll tell you something about myself.
I studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Complutense University of Madrid, and in 2007 I graduated in Fine Arts. While I was studying in 2004, a writer contacted me to draw (in «Magic» style) the 22 arcana of a deck of cards that she was creating. I took on this project as an apprenticeship since I decided to solve them digitally, I had to learn on the fly to use Photoshop and Illustrator.
In 2006 I started my family business Doart Bellas Artes y manualidades, a school and Fine Arts store, where I teach young future artists, while I continue to carry out my artistic projects to this day.

In 2018 I decided that I wanted to evolve and seriously learn how to work digitally, so I left the publishing house to focus on improving my technique. I also moved my business to another city, which was a new beginning.
I have continued making illustrations for private clients and authors who met me at the publishing house, I combine it all with my business. Being my own boss I have relatively flexible hours.
I would like to be able to work making fantasy illustrations for games, whether board games or video games, since it has been my dream since I was little.

Why Shairys Bj?
I was born Silvia Blázquez Jiménez, but an editor suggested I take a stage name. After some thought, I called myself Shairys Bj («Shairy» for my Wow avatar and «s Bj» for my initials)
